RNSG 2331 Advanced Concepts of Adult Health (Capstone)

Application of advanced concepts and skills for the development of the professional nurse's roles in caring for adult patients and families. Emphasis on advanced knowledge, judgment, skills, and professional values within a legal/ethical framework.

BIOL 2320 & BIOL 2120, RNSG 1201, RNSG 2213, RNSG 2162, RNSG 1412, and RNSG 2261. Concurrent with RNSG 2307. Prior or concurrent with 3-hours Humanities/Visual & Performing Arts.

End-of-Course Outcomes

Prioritize the roles of the professional nurse in the provision of care for adult patients and families; develop a plan of care; and evaluate care for adult patients and families with advanced health care needs.
