Computer Technology/Telecommunications Technology/Computer Networking Technology/Biomedical Electronics Technology
The two-year program consists of an Associate in Applied Science degree with multiple specializations. The curriculum is designed to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to secure entry-level employment as a computer technician in either telecommunications, computer networks, biomedical instrumentation, or general computer maintenance and repair. Students are exposed to a variety of computer systems that are prevalent and current in today's workforce.
The Computer Technology specialty focuses on overall electronics technology and incorporates instruction in computer hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, networking, and mobile audio electronics.
The Telecommunications Technology specialty focuses on various areas of telecommunications including microwave, satellite, optical, and wire/cable-based communications.
The Computer Networking Technology specialty incorporates the study of local and wide area networking installations, emphasized by utilizing the classroom as a networking model.
The Biomedical Electronics Technology specialty focuses on the use of technical and theoretical aspects of biomedical instrumentation and equipment presently utilized in the medical field.
