Camilo Prada Child Development Center
Providing child care for: 18-month, 2-, 3-, 4-, 5-year old children:
The LC Camilo Prada Child Development Center is open to provide quality care for children from Laredo & the surrounding communities. The LC Camilo Prada CDC promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills among all children leading to development of the “whole” child. Each classroom provides a developmentally appropriate learning environment that promotes development through play. The educational setting of the center at LC South Camilo Prada Center provides observation and learning opportunities for future childcare professionals and future teachers who are students in the LC Child Development / Early Childhood programs.

- 18-to-24 month old class has 2 adults with a total of 8 children,
- 2-year-old classes have 2 adults with a total of 10 children,
- 3-years-old classes have 2 adults with a total of 12 children, and
- 4-and-5 year old classes have 2 adults with a total of 16 children
- Qualified & Certified teachers, teacher assistants and Permanent Cooks
- Balanced & Nutritious Hot Meals and Healthy Snacks
- State-of –the-Art classrooms with technology to allow LC students to view, through closed circuit T.V. theory put into practice, in the classrooms at the child center
