Computer Information Systems
The Computer Information Systems (CIS) program offers a Networking Technologies Associate in Applied Science degree (A.A.S.) with concentrations in Network Administration and Cloud Computing. The program is a member of the CISCO, Red Hat Linux, CompTIA, Microsoft, and AWS Academies. Academy membership permit the program to include industry curriculum that align with certifications. The program graduates exit the college with a technology degree and industry certification preparation that make them more marketable and workforce ready. Certification testing is mandatory in the program. The CIS program also offers skills-based certificates and Occupational Skills awards.
Courses are practical in nature. Lectures are supplemented by dedicated labs where emphasis is placed on the progressive attainment of operating and technical administrative skills in a hands-on environment. In state-of-the-art computer labs, students enjoy the experiences of modern technology, including network-based workstations and various specialized software environments.
