President's Welcome
Bienvenidos LC Palomino students,
Welcome to the 2023-24 academic year! To our first-time freshmen and transfer students, welcome to the Palomino family. Remember that "once a Palomino, you will always be a part of our herd." For our returning students, welcome back! I am so delighted that you made the decision to continue investing in yourself and that you are here with us today.
As we come together, I am thrilled to continue to learn together with you and about you. We are trying to continue to evolve our college and add new programs and degrees that will support your hopes and dreams. Know that my office is always open and that I want to hear from you. If you see me on campus or eating at the Kazen Student Center or Billy Hall Jr. Student Center food court, join me, con confianza y gusto.
I hope you will commit to becoming an active participant at either of our two beautiful campuses. Whichever campus you study at, I want to encourage you to find your voice in the classroom or by joining student clubs and organizations. I encourage you to stand up for your beliefs and support your passions by sharing your thoughts with action or by joining our Student Government.
What you think and what you say matters and can make a difference in our world. I encourage you to find your passion and find your voice because that is what an education is supposed to do.
We need your help in building a campus life for all students. Join the conversation in and outside of the classroom, enjoy the free meal plan, eat on campus, study on campus and have fun on campus.
