MATH 0304 Self-Paced Intermediate Algebra

A study of relations and functions, inequalities, algebraic expressions and equations (absolute value, polynomial, radical, rational), with a special emphasis on linear and quadratic expressions and equations. Developmental course.

HOW THE COURSE WORKS

Students will have the opportunity to complete three developmental mathematics courses in one semester.

Results from MATH 0301 will be used to determine starting course shell. Student will work on personalized assignments and test at appropriate intervals.

Students are required to log in a minimum of five on-task hours per week. Students will receive credit for the course by earning a 70% or higher on the initial course shell. Note however, that in order to exit the developmental sequence, a student must complete all remaining course shells.

If a student does not complete the minimum requirements for the initial course shell, he/she may not retake the course and must enroll in the appropriate non-NCBO developmental course.
