MATH Combo 0376/1314 Pre-College Mathematics II (3-3-0)/College Algebra CORE (3-3-0)

A study of relations and functions, inequalities, algebraic expressions and equations (absolute value, polynomial, radical, rational), with a special emphasis on linear and quadratic expressions and equations.

In-depth study and application of polynomial, rational, radical, exponential and logarithmic functions, and systems of equations using matrices. Additional topics such as sequences, series, probability, and conics may be included.

This is an accelerated course that meets MTWR. Each part of the course is completed within 8 weeks. Students must successfully pass the first part of the combo course in order to remain enrolled in the second part of the combo sequence. Combo courses are designated with sections ending in 30s/90s.
