Beginning Freshmen
Students enrolling for the first time in college may be admitted by meeting one of the following requirements:
- Graduation from high school.
- Satisfactory scores on the General Education Development Tests (GED).
- Individual approval by the Office of the Registrar and Admissions or designee. Individual approval is granted to those who are 18 years of age or older, who did not graduate from a high school or equivalent and who provide evidence of the ability to profit from post-secondary education.
Provisional Admissions
Provisional admissions may be granted to students who have just recently graduated from high school or are seeking to enroll for a particular term. This means that a student may be admitted pending certain documentation such as, an official high school transcript that details the student graduation date, GPA, and class rank and assessment scores or other documents pertaining to admissions. Students need ensure that they fulfill all admissions requirements prior to continuing to enroll for subsequent terms. If a student has not fulfilled all admissions requirements students will not be allowed to enroll for an additional/future term. Admissions requirements to other programs may be delayed if student has not fulfilled all admissions. Students who are seeking any forms of Financial Aid and scholarships need to contact those offices and verify what the requirements are for such programs. Students who are seeking international student admissions and an I-20 will need to fulfill a full admissions and not a provisional admissions no waivers may be granted under any circumstances for international students
