BIOL 1306 Biology for Science Majors I CORE

Biology for Sciences Majors I is the first part of a two-course sequence. Fundamental principles of living organisms will be studied, including physical and chemical properties of life, organization, function, evolutionary adaptation, and classification. Concepts of cytology, reproduction, genetics, and scientific reasoning are included.

College ready in Reading, English and Mathematics. Concurrent enrollment in CHEM 1311 and CHEM 1111, or CHEM 1411 is strongly recommended. Concurrent enrollment or credit for MATH 1314 is strongly recommended.
