Emergency Management, Associate of Applied Science

The Associate of Applied Science degree program in Emergency Response Management is designed to provide the necessary education and training to usher students into the exciting (and growing) field of Emergency Management.  Students who enroll in our Emergency Response Management degree program will take basic courses in emergency planning  and prevention, mitigation strategies, crisis decision-making, volunteer management, disaster and emergency response procedures, and operations center management. Career opportunities can be found at all levels of government including the federal, state, and local levels in addition to multiple private organizations. Completion of the LC program prepares the graduate for entry level employment but does not guarantee or imply employment in any specific capacity.
