MATH 0372 (3-3-0)

The BASE NCBO supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in mathematics, including communication and appropriate use of technology.  Topics include the study of numeracy and the real number system; algebraic concepts, notation, and reasoning; quantitative relationships; mathematical models; and problem solving.

MATH 0345 (3-3-0)

The course supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in mathematics, including communication and appropriate use of technology.  Topics include the study of numeracy and the real number system; algebraic concepts, notation and reasoning; quantitative relationships; mathematical models; and problem solving. This is an accelerated  and co-requisite course that meets MTWR.  The BASE NCBO content is taught twice a week and the developmental content is taught the remaining two days. Students are concurrently enrolled for both classes and are provided just in-time remediation for the developmental material. Co-requisite classes are designated with sections such as MP, SP, and EP.
