MATH 0375 / 0376 Combo Developmental Mathematics / Intermediate Algebra
MATH 0375 (3-3-0)
The course supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in mathematics, including communication and appropriate use of technology.
Topics include the study of numeracy and the real number system; algebraic concepts, notation, and reasoning; quantitative relationships; mathematical models; and problem solving.
MATH 0376 (3-3-0)
A study of relations and functions, inequalities, algebraic expressions and equations (absolute value, polynomial, radical, rational), with a special emphasis on linear and quadratic expressions and equations.
This is an accelerated course that meets MTWR. Each part of the course is completed within 8 weeks. Students must successfully pass the first part of the combo course in order to remain enrolled in the second part of the combo sequence. Combo courses are designated with sections ending in 30s/90s.
