Home School Students
Students who have graduated from a home school program will need to show proof of studies, including the curriculum followed by the home schooled student. A valid home school transcript signed by the student's parent will suffice as proof. Home schooled students must be of school age.
Home School students may also take part in the Early Enrollment program. Students must show proof of their home school program and proof that they have taken any of the following exams: TSI Assessment 2.0, ACT or SAT. The college will determine if the student has met Early Enrollment eligibility. An Early Enrollment form must be submitted along with an official transcript. College course credit earned by a home-schooled student cannot be used for Dual Credit.
Laredo College will review all home school transcripts from online home schools or home school organizations for approval or denial. Please refer to the Texas Education Agency on Home Schools at http://www.tea.state.tx.us/home-schooling/.
