Workforce Education Division

The Philosophy and Mission of the Workforce Education Division parallels that of the college in preparing for changes in technology, industry, and education.

The Workforce Education Division believes in making career dreams become a reality by offering a wide variety of certificate and degree programs. Learners can obtain the necessary skills to transition to work, further their education, and participate in life-long learning.

The Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees and the Technical Vocational Certificates are designed for employment and career advancement opportunities. The degree and certificate coursework are drawn by the college through industry participation in advisory committees. These degrees and certificates help structure course sequencing that allows the learners to achieve a technical specialty. In some programs of study, articulated coursework may be recognized through articulations and limited number of course credits can also be transferred toward certain Baccalaureate Degree programs.
