Diesel Engine Mechanics and RepairTechnology (DEMR)
Laredo College offers two one-year certificates in Diesel Technology. The Diesel Heavy Truck Technician Certificate and The Heavy Truck Undercarriage Specialization Certificate. These certificates provide training in various areas of specialization including Basic Brakes, Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning and Electronic Controls. The Diesel Technology curriculum is designed to prepare students for entry level employment in the Heavy Truck Industry.
