Welding (WLDG)

Welding is a one-year program that provides students with a working knowledge in the field. The course is intended for beginners in the welding field as well as for students who have received previous training and want to improve their skills and knowledge of the trade.

The welding procedures taught in this course are the ones most commonly used in industry today. These are Oxyacetylene Welding, Basic Arc Welding, Advanced Arc Welding, Pipe Uphill Welding, Pipe Downhill Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc (TIG) Welding and Gas Metal Arc (MIG) Welding. Students are awarded a certificate upon satisfactory completion of all program competencies.
